Of course today's trend is spearheaded by the 'baby boomers' section of our work force, we seem to have finally come to terms  with the foreign concept 'I need to slow down and smell the roses '. Indeed, in a new globalize world, the influence of the cultures of Eastern Europe and the conceptual  '3rd world' business environments has leave it's mark. At last count, it appears most of the 'baby bombers' are on the retirement track, while  the 'X' generation is moving away from the 'corporate ladder' trek, for more reasons than one, for example;  not enough ladders/ too many people with limited ladders, negative stories from their mentors and other past/current  ladder climbers.

The fact is before the industrialization, both parents was at home to provide the secured natured environment in which the family concept flourish. It seem once again the clock is going full circle, re-drawing the frontiers of our life, creating a lifestyle and environment, where jobs does not take parents away from families, where the basic desire in man (female and male) to be  creative,  to be entrepreneurs, to be free to control your life.
